Welcome to BSA Troop 695 and 8695
Who are we?
Troops 695 (boys) and 8695 (girls) are small and independent Scouts BSA troops, chartered through Chief Seattle Council, and located in North Sammamish. Our two troops work closely together and share programs and experiences. We also have Pack 695, which aims at age 5 – 10, which is closely associated with Troop 695/8695.
What do we do?
- All things outdoors: backpacking, camping, biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing, climbing…you name it!
- Explore and try new things
- Learn practical life skills (and how to apply them)
- Positively impact communities and the world around us
When and where?
We meet at Blackwell Elementary School every Monday, from 6:30-7:45pm.

Our troop strives to foster a collaborative environment where:
- Boys and girls work together seamlessly with shared leadership responsibility
- Youth will set goals and objectives together – Leadership, character development, and community engagement
- Troop will encourage diversity: welcome all ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds but shall be non-denominational

Who can Join?
No prior experience in with scouting is required. Scouts BSA is open to all boys and girls age 10+. We have scouts from Sammamish, Issaquah, Redmond and Bellevue. Our Scouts are from a variety of local schools in Lake Washington School District and also Issaquah School District.

Scouting activities in-Sammamish for boys and girls younger than 11?

- Pack 695 at Blackwell – all students welcome, from any school!
- Pack 551 – We are part of the Alpine District of the Chief Seattle Council, servicing Margaret Mead Elementary, Christa McAuliffe Elementary and other neighboring areas in Sammamish, WA.
- Select Pack 225 which is open to boys and girls in grades K through 5. We serve the Creekside Elementary area, and While our pack is primarily associated with Creekside, we draw pack members from all types of schools in the area, including home schools.
- Pack 571 Servicing Rachel Carson and Samantha Smith Elementary schools in Sammamish, WA. we provide year-round programs for boys and girls.
